Matthew McConaughey is engaged to his long time love girlfriend and mother of his two children, Camila Alves on Christmas Day, 25th, December 2011.
The 42-year-old proposed to his girlfriend, Alves after being together for four years and conceiving two children. On a big day of Christmas, Brazilian model and television performer proposed to his girlfriend and also presented an engagement ring.
The actor shared the happy news with his fans on Twitter saying that ‘just asked Camila to marry me, merry Christmas’. While Lincoln Lawyer star also posted a picture of the happy couple sharing a romantic kiss in front of their Christmas tree.
Matthew McConaughey first met Camila Alves in 2006, now the couple has two children, son Levi Alves McConaughey and daughter Vida Alves McConaughey. The pair lives between Austin in Matthew’s home state and Malibu, though McConaughey lived for years in an RV nearby, professing a love for the simple life.
The wedding proposal may have come as a surprise to Camila, recently they revealed that she and her Matthew were in no rush walk down the aisle in the near future. Earlier it was reported that they have got no plans right now and they were good, and so far so good. Recently, Matthew McConaughey starred in Killer Joe with Emile Hirsch.
