Kings Beat the Lakers in Jimmer Fredette First Regular Season Game

Kings Beat the Lakers in Jimmer Fredette First Regular Season Game
Jimmer Fredette
Jimmer picked up several assists in addition to his 6 points in tonight's Sacramento Kings victory over the Lakers. Final score was 100-91, as the underdogs stomped all over Koby Bryant and company.
It was a beautiful game and bodes well for Jimmer and the Kings.

The Sacramento Kings opened up their season last night against the Los Angeles Lakers and come away with the 100-91 win.  Glens Falls native Jimmer Fredette was a part of that win as he made his pro basketball debut.

The Lakers aren’t starting off the 2011/2012 NBA season very hot.  They are 0-2 and their latest loss comes at the hands of the Sacramento Kings.

The Kings beat the Lakers 100-91.  Albany’s own Jimmer Fredette added 6 points and 3 assists off the Kings bench.  Sacramento led by Marcus Thornton, he had 27 points.  Tyreke Evans had 20 points, while DeMarcus Cousins had 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Next up for the Kings are the Portland Trail Blazers in Portland, while the Lakers get the Utah Jazz at home.  We don’t have to make to much of the Lakers slow start just yet, after all there was only about a week of training camp.
